Jelena Li

Jelena helps Mahlab’s association clients think like media companies, driving commercial performance and best practice publishing strategies that shape meaningful conversations, bring audiences together and deliver on business objectives. She has 15 years experience working in book publishing, broadcast and digital media companies both overseas and in Australia, and spent seven years leading the content partnerships team at BBC Global News before joining Mahlab in 2021. Outside the office, Jelena is busy acting out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle film scenes with her two (very!) energetic little boys, always trying to find ways to live a little more sustainably and spending as much time as possible in nature. And of course, as a native German, she loves sausages and sourdough bread, and firmly believes that every good night out ends with an ‘Absacker’ (night cap).
