PLAN TO IMPROVE THEM IN 2019

Email is not losing its appeal. 97% of the association leaders surveyed use enewsletters; 47% believe email is the most important member communication channel.

Consumers are suffering from email overload, however, and associations admit that email is a channel they’ve abused over the years, sending too many messages with too little relevance.

Fortunately, improving the segmentation and targeting of email is firmly on the radar of Australian associations.Making this vision a reality, of course, requires an increase in the quality of member data, and an increase in the take-up of marketing technology and software, to enable associations to segment and target specific content to different members.
